Author Visit with Alton Carter

Join us for a visit with Alton Carter. Alton has written books for children and teens inspired by his time growing up in the foster care system. He is a motivational speaker. His book, Aging Out, won the 2019 Louisiana Teen Readers’ Choice award. That book tells his story of overcoming adversity to be the first person in his family to graduate high school and later college. Families welcome.
