Tax Season
It’s already 2021, and the deadline to file your taxes will be here before you know it!
West Baton Rouge Library offers many resources to help ease the headaches of tax season, including free online tax filing, tax forms, helpful links, and of course, books. Keep reading below to find out which of our resources can help you.
Free Tax Preparation
Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, the Library is unable to offer our usual free tax preparation help. We hope to resume this service next year. In the meantime, please use the other resources on this page.
West Baton Rouge Parish, The West Baton Rouge Library, and the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance through the Internal Revenue Service will offer free tax help to individuals with simple returns. Appointments are available at the West Baton Rouge Library every Saturday from February 2 through April 13 at 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m., and 12:00 p.m.
Space is limited so registration is required. To register, or for questions, contact Sarah Colombo at (225) 342-7920 ext. 221 or scolombo@wbrplibrary.us.
