About the Program
Check Out Louisiana provides public library patrons with free access to museums and cultural destinations through electronic passes (e-passes). The program supports lifelong learning, cultural enrichment, and community engagement.
Experience Louisiana’s rich and colorful history through the Check Out Louisiana program! Use your library card to unlock the great historical, cultural, and educational resources of Louisiana’s museums.
Our state’s museums bring the people, places and events that make up our distinctive history to life. Each venue offers vast informational resources and its own unique story. Through Check Out Louisiana, library card holders can receive an e-pass to visit these state treasures at no cost!
The program is from a partnership between the State Library of Louisiana, the Lieutenant Governor’s Office and Louisiana State Museums.
To Reserve Your e-Pass
- Go to https://checkoutlouisiana.quipugroup.net/?wbrpl
- Log in with your library card barcode number, and PIN or password.
- Browse the available offers by date or venue.
- Click Show first available offer then Reserve a different date to see all available dates for each attraction.
- Once you’ve selected a suitable date, confirm your reservation details.
- Don’t forget to print your pass before your visit!
Important Considerations

- Adult patrons must be in good standing with the library.
- Passes are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- It is recommended that patrons bring a valid ID, library card, and mobile or printed pass to ensure entry.
