This is a fun interactive program that features a live Saxophonist, Drums, Step-Dancing, & Street Dance. All ages and families welcome!

Create a project while learning basic art techniques with Artist, Cindy Wiley.  Best for ages 6 and up.  Our younger friends may need their caregivers help. Supplies will be provided Please register online.

Tuesday, June 2nd - 2:00 p.m. Children ages 5 and up are invited to paint a birdhouse. We recommend participants wear old clothes. Younger participants will need help from their caregiver. Space is limited. Online registration opens on April 30th. Registration is now closed.

Join us for a fun play and informational session with Francheska Peterson from Families Helping Families. We will learn some dynamic ways to engage children and have family play time. Let’s learn how to create delicious meals like a pro while exploring new flavors and ingredients! Participants will be introduced to basic kitchen safety and cooking skills, all guided by a representative from the LSU AgCenter. Register online and please list any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Friday, June 5th at 1:00 - Main Branch Add some sparkle to your shelves! Bring a favorite book, journal, or planner—and give it a rhinestone makeover! We’ll provide the gems, glue, tools, and ideas; you bring a book and creativity. We will be by the windows in the children’s section. Registration is encouraged.
