Dinosaurs are taking over the library this summer, starting with a Dino Party! Sign up for summer reading and earn prizes! Make dinosaur fossils, play dinosaur bingo, make a Triceratops mask, and more. Families and all ages welcome to join in on the fun! No registration required

Youth ages 10 and up are invited to a cooking class with special guest Audriane, the owner of the Young Chefs Academy of Baton Rouge. Participants will make mashed potatoes, meatloaf, and crinkly-cut cookies for dessert. Space is limited. Online registration is required. Registration for this event is now closed.

Monday, June 1st - 10:00 a.m. - Main Branch Join us for a Dinosaur-Themed Children’s Storytime. We will read books, sing songs, and enjoy a craft.

This is a fun interactive program that features a live Saxophonist, Drums, Step-Dancing, & Street Dance. All ages and families welcome!

Create a project while learning basic art techniques with Artist, Cindy Wiley.  Best for ages 6 and up.  Our younger friends may need their caregivers help. Supplies will be provided Please register online.

Tuesday, June 2nd - 2:00 p.m. Children ages 5 and up are invited to paint a birdhouse. We recommend participants wear old clothes. Younger participants will need help from their caregiver. Space is limited. Online registration opens on April 30th. Registration is now closed.
